Everyone knows that #Manchester is world-renowned to have been at the heart of the industrial revolution. If you want to discover and understand this era, why not going to the museum of science and industry (MOSI) which was built in honour of this industrial path?!
When I visited the #MOSI, I must admit that I was very surprised! I did not expect it to be this interesting and big!
The museum is divided into several buildings and each of them is dedicated to a particular theme such as #transport (cars, aircraft, railway..), #power (water, electricity..), #textiles, #communications and #IT.
Whether you go there alone, with friends or family, there will always be something that will interest you...very interactive, this museum offers many activities and even a stage dedicated to experiments! If you are anything like me, you will find it funny!
….and here are the extra information you may want to know about: did you know that the museum is located on the site of the world's #first #railway #station (Manchester Liverpool Road) which opened in September 1830? did you know that the buildings of the museum are Grade I listed, which means that they have been placed on the Statutory List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest? Well now you know! Definitely a must-see!
And if you do need a break while visiting the MOSI, why not stopping at the cafe located in the hall of the #museum ! I promise you will enjoy the #lovely selection of tea, coffee and cakes! #Happy #Visit.
